Jessica & Wesley

Sometimes you just know that a wedding is going to be awesome. I've got that feeling about this one. You can see from this engagement session that Jessica and Wesley look like the belong together. They were so relaxed and willing to do whatever we needed to do to get the pictures. I am so blessed to be able to do something that I love but that blessing is multiplied when I'm working with a couple like this.

Jessica and Wesley were guests at another wedding that I shot and they told me a good bit of the guest from that wedding would be at their wedding. That means lots of fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, and FUN.

Hannah & JP

Hannah was a bridesmaid from a previous wedding. She and I got to talking at the wedding and knew some people in common. She introduced me to her family and we all talked for a while and had the best time. Hannah said that she was planning her own wedding and would be giving me a call. I was so excited because as you can see Hannah is beautiful but more than that she has the best personality.

I couldn't wait to meet JP. I was hoping that Hannah's future husband was as much fun as she was. JP is so funny and every time I told them to look at each other Hannah would start laughing. I think that a couple that can laugh together and at each other has a strong relationship and an exciting future.

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Hannah and JP's wedding. I haven't had a chance to post these engagement pictures so I wanted to get them posted before I told you all about the beautiful wedding. Hannah arrived at the wedding site on horse back!!

Adan & Kelly

I had the honor of photographing Adan and Kelly's wedding. Here are a few of the pictures from the day. Adan and I had already gotten together a few weeks earlier and had a bridal session. I knew that she would be beautiful since I had already had that sneak peak. Kelly had the biggest smile on his face when he saw her walk in.

It was an awesome day. Adan and Kelly, Thanks for letting me be part of it.

Amy & Robert

I'm always looking for new places to shoot engagement sessions. When Amy called me to set up her session she asked if I would be willing to go on the roof. Yes - we are actually on the roof of a VERY TALL house in this picture!! Be careful what you ask for. I try to make each engagement session as different as possible - I think we accomplished that.

Amy and Robert met on this roof while watching July 4th fireworks. I think they are still seeing fireworks because I couldn't get them to look at the camera. They couldn't take their eyes off of each other.

I can't wait for the wedding. I don't think we are going on a roof but you never know.

Chelsea & Jason

Well, I think that Jason gets the "Tallest Groom" award. Chelsea will not have a hard time finding him in a crowd. Just look up - he will be the one above everyone else. We had to put Chelsea in a tree to get her on the same level as Jason.

We did this engagement session back in January. I think it was the coldest day of January. Just kidding - it was really cold but they were both great sports about it. We had a blast. The wedding is in May so it will be much warmer but I'm sure just as much fun. Here are a few of my favorite images from the session.

Family

On Easter weekend, my brother got married on the beach in North Carolina!! My whole family was able to go up for the wedding and I had the honor of photographing it. We had the best time. Here are a few of the images of Billy and Cindy.

In June, Billy is retiring from the Marines after 24 years of service. My parents, my sister and her family and my family are all going to Virginia to a retirment ceremony for him. We will have another exciting few days hanging out together and having fun. Billy, Cindy, Zack and JT are all moving to Georgia after the ceremony. I'm so happy.

Kelly & Ben

I'm looking forward to this weekend. A few months ago, Kelly called me and wanted to schedule her engagement session. She wanted one for the newspaper but she also wanted to have her daughter, Emma, in some of the pictures. I was excited about that. Not only are Kelly and Ben becoming husband and wife but the three of them are becoming a family. Emma is a beautiful little girl and we quickly became friends. It doesn't take long to see the love they all three have for each other. I'm excited to see Emma again but it is also an honor to document the "official" beginning for this family.
