An Instant Connection - Lea Anne & Wes

That is what I felt from the first phone call with Lea Anne. One Sunday afternoon I was in the studio and got a phone call. Lea Anne was planning a Georgia wedding from Virginia and looking for a photographer. For me, the phone call was like reconnecting with an old friend even though we had never met. I was so excited when I got an email from Lea Anne saying that she was sending her contract in.

A few weeks before the wedding, Lea Anne and Wes were going to be in Georgia to finalize wedding plans. We were able to get together and finally meet. I was so happy. The meeting had the same feeling as the first phone call and I got to meet Wes.

Lea Anne & Wes - Thank you so much for allowing me to spend this special day with you. I am blessed that I have gotten to know you and hope that we stay in touch for years to come. I hope you enjoy this montage of your wedding.

Meet Bailey Barnes

Kelli Sapp Barnes and her family have been my friends for years. I was so excited for Kelli when she was getting married and happy that I was going to be able to help photograph her wedding. As soon as I met Sonny, I knew they were made for each other. Well, Kelli and Sonny have had another milestone in their life.

Meet Bailey - isn't she beautiful? Some of Kelli's friends got together and gave her a baby shower and one of the gifts was a gift certificate for me to photograph the baby. I can't express in words the privilege it was to photography Bailey. I can't wait to see her grow up.

Kelli & Sonny - I had a great time hanging out after the shoot. I hope you enjoy these photographs.

Lacey & Will

I knew Lacey was beautiful but WOW!! On her wedding day, she was stunning.

As you can see from these next two images - Will agrees and couldn't wait to wrap his arms around her.

After meeting Lacey's grandfather, it didn't take long to realize that he is one of her biggest fans. Her being the only granddaughter might have something to do with it. He was the life of the party and kept the dance floor hot!! I kept thinking - he has got to be tired but I don't think he sat down all night.

Lacey & Will - Thanks so much for picking me to photograph your day. I hope you enjoy your images and montage as much I enjoyed your wedding.

Carin & London

Doesn't this look like the perfect day to have a wedding? That's what I was thinking when I was on my way to Carin and London's wedding in Sandersville.

I already knew that I had a gorgeous bride to photograph so the day was looking pretty good for me.

Carin put so much thought into the details of the day and it all came together to make one beautiful wedding.

Carin said that she was going to marry her best friend and you can see the love and happiness on both of their faces.

Thanks guys!! It was such an honor to document your memories. Here is a collection of images that we put together for you. I hope you enjoy them.

Laura & Scott

I got a work out on this engagement session. It was so much fun and totally worth it. Laura called to set up her session and asked about going to Lake Juliette. I thought that sounded great. I haven't done an engagement session up there so this would be a nice change.

We walked a railroad track, visited the little town where "Fried Green Tomatoes" was filmed, climbed across a concrete retaining wall to get to some huge rocks (so we could climb over them) and then climbed a ladder to get to the top of a dam. I was so excited about the pictures I was getting and we laughed and had a good time the whole way.

I have to admit that Laura and Scoot looked much better than I did during all of this - they are younger and in better shape! I'm just glad that I was behind the camera.

Laura & Scott - Thanks for a fun Sunday afternoon. I know the wedding will be filled with as much fun and adventure.

My Best Friend's Wedding

I'm going to steal a quote from Carin's facebook....

"Getting married July 12th to an amazing guy, London, who just happens to be my best friend...he definitely stole my heart"

Carin and London have a story of how two friends become best friends and along the way fall in love. I can't think of a better way to start a marriage.

Here are a few images from their engagement session. They were great to go with me to a spot that I wanted to try out. I had a hard time just picking a few to show.

Hannah

I can honestly say that Hannah has become a great friend. The other day we were talking on the phone and she was telling me a story. When she finished she said that she was sorry for talking so long but she felt like I was part of the family since her wedding. I told her that I felt the same way and was so glad that she shared the story with me. It made me feel so good that she felt the same way. You can't spend one of the most important days of someone's life with them and not feel a special bond. I am honored for the privilege of being allowed to capture memories for so many people. Each week I'm excited by the fact that I'm about to meet new people and have new experiences.

Here are a few of Hannah's bridals. I'll post some of her wedding pictures soon.
